Hennessy x Pedro Abasolo

I was happy to be a part of the for the Hennessy VS sponsored "Pedro Abasolo 2nd Annual Hair & Fashion show" where more than 200 guests were in attendance this past week. The event was held at the Hotel ZaZa and was a lavish fashion extravaganza that was dedicated to the strong & fearless women. 

Guests walked the red carpet in style while mixing  fashion show goers who enjoyed the signature drink for the night. "El Pedro Abasolo" containing Hennessy V.S mixed with Pineapple juice. Mega 101's own Yuridia Gonzalez emceed the event, she is too cute!  She introduced Fashion Designer David Peck who gave us an exclusive sneak peak from his Fall 2014 collection. Amir Tagui, a 17 year old designer presented the fall pieces that he will soon showcase in NYFW and Azhand Shokohi presented her collection for the first time in Texas.

A SpoiledLatina, is a powerful Latina who works hard to spoil herself. Whether she kicks back to read a book, gets a manicure or takes a spontaneous getaway. She may an independent Latina who is furthering her education or she works 3 jobs and simply wants to sleep in one day. The possibilities of spoiling yourself are endless.

I think as women we work so hard to further our careers, to be friends, sisters, mothers and many of us manage our households. We often forget about ourselves. There is a lot of responsibilities to being a head strong, goal oriented woman. I believe in Spoiling yourself from time to time. I work long hours. My mind is constantly on the move with different ideas and ways to implement them. So when I do get some free time, some me time, I will spoil myself. I love shoes so my feet get the spoiling, most of the time.

Having said that...

Finally, I made t'shirts! I have been thinking of printing some for us SpoiledOnes to wear for the longest and with life happening and everything going on, I just hadn't. Until now!

Marco Antonio Solis & Ana Gabriel concert

I had a blast at the Ana Gabriel & Marco Antonio Solis concert along with my friend Roxxi Jane, who invited me. We had 5th row Center seats, which made the show that much better! We initially were taking our mothers because they are both fans of theirs and it was a ladies night out...turned out our mothers couldn't make it so we went together which was still a fun ladies night! We walked into the Toyota Center, bought a drink and while doing so, we heard Ana Gabriel on stage, just hearing her voice and the song, both Roxxi and I literally started tearing up thinking of our lovely mothers. It was such a great show, great energy and awesome time going down our musical memory lane.

Baby Bash and Steph Jones on The Sweet Spot

Going 7 weeks strong!! On our latest Sweet Spot Show Roxxi and I interviewed Baby Bash and Steph Jones and what a show it was! Bash was hilarious and Steph was the same... I think this show was one of our best simply because we were really comfortable asking the guests questions and not really holding our tongue on the topics that were asked and it was laughing and more laughing the whole show! Thanks Steph and Bash for calling into the show... Stay Tuned next week as we have super hip hop duo producers Beanz & Kornbread who have production on the latest Paul Wall project as well as Dallas Blocker's "Rock yo Body"

Quiet on set...

Yesterday after The Sweet Spot, I met up with Brandi at Serendipity 3 a local fashion store in Houston where she was filming a fashion segment and she did a mini interview of me  for her TV show called "The Spot Light"  ,Serendipity has the cutest clothes!! I met Ruby again, had met her a while back while I was shooting a pilot for a TV show, which ultimately became a pain. lol And also got my make up retouched (because i already had did my makeup) by Lisa who is Ruby's sister and also the in house make up artists at Serendipity. She is great!
