Houston Image Expo- fun fun!

The Image Expo rolled into Houston over the weekend and I was able to attend the  first day. Wanted to go both days but had tons to do. I met so many fabulous people, got to know beauty brands that I otherwise probably never would have met and ultimately it was a blast. Shared the day with my bff blogger Magen Pastor. We scored lots of goodies, saw lots of new trends and made some great connections!

 I was in heaven when I learned about these hair extensions! Mine will be shipped very soon.... Super easy to apply and take down hair extensions makes this product a must have!

Shany is a Houston based beauty brand who had the cutest make up bags, and make up cases. See the make up palette?  Yes, it's real makeup and it's soo cute I wanted to bring it home with me!

Love these Vodana products! The curling iron above is a brush and curling iron in one, which gave me a sexy summer wavy look that I went gaga over.

Meet Aaron the CEO. He gave me great insight into Vodana, they are the manufacturer of Paul Mitchell products and other high profile clients and he created his own brand. Vodana means "better than" in Japanese.

 

Summer nail color must haves

 Obliphica had the largest and most beautiful set up. The staff was so friendly. The products are worn by Pamela Anderson, Macy Gray, Kendra Wilkinson and just added, ME!

Cover Girl and The Hunger Games unite

CoverGirl makes a power move collabing with The Hunger Games. The movie which stars Jennifer Lawrence, Iam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson in the second installment of The Hunger Games franchise. 

The film promises to illustrate the exquisite splendor in the world of the Capitol in rich detail, and the film's makeup department used COVERGIRL products on set to create the film's luxurious, high couture looks. Which I can not wait to replicate.

Novela inspired looks from Mary Kay- Giveaway! *ad

Hola Bella's! Are you one of those girls who loves to play with makeup and sometimes try to recreate a look you saw on a celebrity on the red carpet or on television? I know, I am guilty of it!  Since there really aren't any tutorials from the celebrity make up artist themselves on the particular look I want to try, I usually free hand it and although not the exact same, I love it! 

Mary Kay is an official sponsor of the latest Univision.com webnovela, Arranque de Pasión. 

The novela will have scenes where the product will be shown in use during the novela. Mary Kay is doing something really cool for us beauty fanatics, they have establihed some of the character “looks” of the novela and has created a series of vignette where celebrity makeup artists Luis Casco and Mariela Bagnato will share tips with viewers on how to replicate the characters’ looks.

Kardashian Hairstylist Clyde Haygood talks "Braids, Top Knots and Pony Tails" for summer!

Behind every fabulous celebrity is a Hair God  that is responsible for the mane. Clyde "The Hair God" Haygood has been the Kardashian family hairstylist for the past 8 years and is fortunate for his talent that he is blessed to travel with the clan to all of their travel engagements and family vacations. I am sure the girls are fighting over him!

 I caught up with him while he was traveling with the sisters to launch the Spring 2013 Kardashian Kollection for Sears (watch it here) and I asked him what the KK's love, about setting trends and what we all can do to make our hair stand out in the upcoming Summer season.

Kardashians Took Houston- video- pics- Sears KK Spring Launch

The Kardashian sisters caused major khaos inside Willowbrook Mall in Houston this past weekend. The crowd which was way over 1500 people were so anxious to see the girls that some people arrived at 2 am to make sure that they met the fun sisters.  Khloe and Kourtney were scheduled to be making an appearance together than Kim was confirmed this past week.

The Kardashian "Spring" Kollection is a mix of animal prints, pastels, blacks and lots of style....
