Cantinflas - Film

I had two opportunities to this past week that I regret to have taken.

 I was invited to the media premiere of Cantinflas, the movie but due to my busy schedule and a horrible cough that I had, I was unable to attend. 

I still wanted to share the story of Mario Moreno aka Cantinflas who was a Mexico's most famous comedic actor and philanthropist. The film is about his life story and how he became who he was and the legacy he left behind.

I cannot wait to watch it...who's coming with me?

Billboard Latin Music Awards 2014

The Billboard Latin Music Awards complete list has been announced and the nominees, are the  hottest Latinos in the game. Romeo Santos leads the pack with being nominated in 17 categories. Prince Royce follows closely behind with 16 and 15 for  Marc Anthony. 

Jenni Rivera, also is nominated. Her legacy lives on. 

Show will air live from on Telemundo on April 24th and sponsored by State Farm which celebrates its 25th year in sponsoring the event.

NY International Film Festival

Planning a trip to NY in August? If so, make plans to attend the New York International Film Festival 

The NYIFF kicks off on August 13th with a 15th anniversary presentation of SELENA, the movie that launched J.Lo's career will be shown at at Theatre Under The Stars and it should be a great night out with friends, and relive the Tejano Queens legacy. 

Also opening night, Filly Brown, directed by Michael Olmos will be presented, this movie had great reviews at Sun Dance. The compadres Chingo Bling and Baby Bash were in the movie  and is the first big acting gig for Jenny Rivera.

Latinos In Paris- Pitbull & Sensato (video)

Pitbull is dabling in everything lately and directing his latest video with "Latinos in Paris" came naturally I'm sure. Love the song and Sensato is a beast on this track.  2 Thumbs up!
