Super Bowl Recap .... #RideKia

Houston! 

Although my Houston Texans did not make the Super Bowl, my city won in a major way!

So many people were in the city and not only was money spent and brought to our local economy, the world finally got to see how beautiful and multicultural this city really is. I drove around in style and comfort in the 2017 Kia Cadenza, a sleek built car with a powerful engine and style that measures up to the top of the line cars. Its super spacious, the sound system is amazing and the intuitive technology in the car plus appleplay make my busy lifestyle a bit easier and easily one of my favorite features. The trunk space is enormous and fit all my work items. I love looking at the sky and enjoying Gods beauty and the sunroof made it easy for me to love life more.

My week started the day before the Kia arrived.  I hosted a cocktail reception in the honor of late, Pimp C at Lumen Lounge. Pimp C was an artist from the hit duo UGK. His music and legacy was inducted into the Rice University Library archives and it was a no brainer for me to sponsor it on behalf of Deleon Tequila. Pimp C becomes the second artist to be inducted after SwishaHouse.

On Wednesday when the KIA The Kia arrived -  the festivities began.  I attended a Fox Sports party. I don't know any football players faces or names but I can assure you they were there. My girl Danielle and I really don't need anyone around for us to have fun, this actually turned out to be a great night! I met a few people and took a few photos, which if you're with me is a must.

Thursday, I was invited by Reliant to attend the ChainSmokers event at Club Nomadic, and Friday night, I attended the Bruno Mars concert at the same location. For these nights, an uber was madatory as there were no parking spaces near the venue unless you were in the NFL.

Saturday morning I was at the Houston Premium Outlets doing social media for them and the NIKE shoes launches and Super Bowl festivities. I always love to work with HPO.

Later that day, I drove from one side of Houston to the other to prepare for DJ Khaled's arrival to his meet and greet. I arrived early and made sure everything was in its place and order. Made sure security was able to sustain the crowds and just as I thought, they couldn't. The crowd was thick with over 2000 fans waiting in line to see him. It was insane. My duty as Anthony's mother was to coordinate a meet and greet solely for Anthony and that I did. HTownKid was grateful to have met one of the people he looks up to. As Khaled was leaving the meet and greet, I was able to get Anthony to him and Anthony made an appearance on DJ Khaled's super popular snapchat.

Saturday night, I met up with my friends at The Rolling Stones Party at the Museum of Fine Arts Houston where Nas performed. The party was fun, we had our own table (Nas table) the music was good, people were having fun it was great!

What did I do Sunday? Watched the game, ate some burgers and fajitas, enjoyed friends and was glad the weekend was over. My feet were aching, my body needed rest. One of my favorite things about the KIA Cadenza was the heated seats. So warm, which helped my drive home feel relaxing and enjoyable. Hope you caught my snap chat stories and IG stories -- they were full of fun!

I tok so many pictures of Kia the Kia but this is my absolute favorite with the sun set behind it.
