Praise The Makeup and the Natural Look

Wednesday, March 26, 2014

I know, as a girl, I have felt self-conscious before for wearing makeup almost every day.
A lot of girls feel like if they wear makeup everyday, they are hiding themselves.
We all admire the girls who always wear makeup AND the girls who can pull off the “natural” look.

Neither one is better or less than the other.
They are just at different points in their day, week, career, etc.
So if you have a hectic schedule, a dab of concealer, a pop of mascara, a dash of blush and lip gloss can go a VERY long way to hide those long nights of work or studying.
The way we present ourselves every day says a lot about who we are.
You never know who you’re going to meet at work, school, or simply at a coffee shop. But always know how to prepare accordingly for each specific occasion.

So don’t fear the makeup, use it to YOUR advantage. Makeup should be seen as a tool that all women have access to.
Look at it as a natural enhancement of the beautiful features of your face, whether its amazing cheek structure, full lips, or almond shaped eyes.
By putting on makeup, you’re not putting on a mask, you’re not pretending to be anyone else; you’re simply enhancing the BEAUTY of your hard work.
Personally, when I do my makeup, do my hair, and put a cute outfit on, I feel much better than when I simply put on sweat pants and a t-shirt.

But of course, we all have those days where we don't have the energy or the time to put on makeup or do our hair; there's nothing wrong with that either. We are still capable of being as productive and going on with our everyday lives with or without it.

So whether you put on makeup on a daily basis, or you can pull off the natural look, be confident in YOURSELF.
So wake up tomorrow, SPOIL yourself, and conquer YOUR world.
