But we are also going to include a Pumpkin Bread Pudding recipe that is rumored to be irresistible!

Pumpkin Bread Pudding with Maple Crème Anglais

Ingredients:
6 cups day old French or white bread, into 1 inch cubes
4 eggs

4 egg yolks

1 1/2 cups half and half

1 cup heavy whipping cream

1 can pumpkin purée

1 cup brown Sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons amaretto or brandy

1 T pumpkin pie spice

2 tablespoons butter softened

Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter a large rectangular baking dish that is at least 3 inches deep. Place bread cubes in buttered pan. In large mixing bowl, whisk together all of the bread pudding ingredients except the butter. Pour the mixture over bread cubes and let stand for 15 minutes. Dot the top of the casserole dish evenly with softened butter. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 50 minutes to an hour until most of the liquid is absorbed but not dry. The center should be set.
