Festival People en Espanol presented by Target

If your looking for something fun and exciting to do over the Labor Day weekend, why not head to San Antonio. Festival People en Espanol presented by Target. The festival is a weekend long event, celebrating Hispanic culture, entertainment and community and this means there will be plenty of festivities for the whole familia.     In addition, Festival People En EspaƱol will offer visitors two days of free, yes Gratis,  open to the public events including the opportunity to catch exclusive Q&A sessions with celebrities and telenovela stars, hear tips from leading industry experts on topics ranging from fashion to wellness, and interact with favorite brands. I am particularly excited because not only will Daddy Yankee, Prince Royce, Tito "El Bambino", 3Ball MTY and a whole lot more artist, and to make the festival as grand as it is.... LUIS MIGUEL, Mexico's ultimate bachelor, heart throb, romance king,  will be performing too!!

Luis Miguel as you may or may not know is a musical icon from Mexico and he is very popular among the ladies, having dated some of the most famous women in the industry such as Sophia Vergara, Daisy Fuentes, Mariah was goo goo over him and his most recent breakup with Brittney Gasstineau. His romantic lyrics and grown and sexy swagger is definitely what keeps the girls coming.  As a young girl I remember a movie that he and Lucero were in, they were friends and imaginary lovers. It was a musical, I loved that movie (clip of movie at the end of post) I also remember being young and spending time in Mexico, my cousins who were older than me would take me with them on Sunday nights to drive around the plazuela where all the young adults would hang out. We drove around listening to Luis Miguel con Mariachi full blast. My cousins would sing at the top of their lungs,  while driving would say hi to there friends and everyone was listening to their favorite music and my girl cousins would stick to Luis Miguel. Those were fun memories....

ok. So back to the festival.....

A night out with Marissa Lopez Wong - Mario Lopez sister

A couple of weeks ago, Mario Lopez was set to make an appearance at Lumen Lounge and due to things beyond our control he could not make it. However after speaking to him, he asked me to host his sister and brother in law and I gladly did. Marissa Lopez Wong is an author as well as sister to top Latin TV Host Mario Lopez and Kailee Wong is a retired NFL player. They live in Houston with their children and after a good dinner they celebrated the night away at Lumen.
Waiting on when Mario will remake his appearance, hopefully it will be soon!

Better Together (sponsored post)

With my hubby and little man in the house things can get hectic. We all have packed schedules that require us to be on the go all day. That’s why I love using Caress Daily Silk Body wash Value Pack and my boys are smelling great with Axe Black from Sam’s Club. They are quick, easy to travel with, and smell great.

But best of all, Sam’s Club carries them! So, I can grab them while I am stocking the house up, and we have enough for both my guys!
Preparing for the day, freshening up mid-day, or getting ready for a night out, a quick blast of confidence from Axe is what my boys need.
But with Axe Black and Caress, my entire family is #BetterTogetherSC!

And Caress is for me, it gives me just what I need to start my day feeling fresh and lovely. I also love the reassurance that I smell great through out the day.
And after a long day it is the perfect way to relax.
And Sam’s makes it so easy to pick it up and go with their new app. Scan and Go! It makes my shopping trips so much quicker a…

Meeting with Romeo Santos...So Nasty

I love music and as most of us do, we also have our favorites. I was fortunate enough to meet one of my favorite musicians, Romeo Santos of the mega latin group Aventura while he was in Houston promoting his dvd release for "The King Stays King" a concert dvd from where he  sold out at Madison Square Garden for about 3 nights consecutively. He's like the male version of J.Lo, that hard to get close to.

There must have been over 2k people in line waiting to get an autograph, catch a glimpse, a smile, and if lucky a hug from this latino heartthrob.... luckily I didn't have to wait in a line. I got a smile, a hug and we spoke and laughed about some of his previous work and very first cd. I was waiting on him while he met other fans for a private meet and greet the radio hosted and honestly I don't know how he does it...I was laughing the whole time, at the requests some of the fans were making, than at the replies the management would give. His management took car…
