I Love Sushi! If you follow me on twitter, you know that I literally twit pic weekly my sushi pics.  The cooked  sushi is what I like best, still haven't gotten around to the raw stuff...but I'm sure I will soon. For years I have been stuck on Shrimp Tempura w/ a slice of jalapeno and avocado. Can you please say YUMMY?!! I have found a jewel in the middle of a North Houston suburb, called Wasabi.

Wasabi is owned by a guy named Johnny, he is from Arizona, came to Houston for a change and opened up shop and is doing his thing. First of all, I won't just eat anywhere. If I have not been somewhere I always google for reviews, So I did Google a sushi location in Humble, TX and this was one of the places, it lured me in when it the reviews said it had a bar with a variety of wines, liquor and beers. It also said if I get to tipsy to drive home, there is a limo outside that will take me home. Of course I will never get totally wasted and need a driver, but for you party heads that love sushi and Saki this is the place for you!! Johnny even has Karaoke night... I must attend, cause I hear its the place to be!!

The first time I ordered it was a to go order I walked in noticed it was real laid back, great customer service and waited on my order, hoping my food was good. I got home laid my food on the table, sat and indulged on scrumptioulicious sushi. I have been dining at Wasabi for about almost a year now, and I have to say...I have been to the most expensive Sushi spots and the taste does not compare to Wasabi. 5 Stars is what I give it!

Here are a few pictures of my favorite dishes.

Thank you Johnny for always treating me like the SpoiledLatina I am :)

A night out with Marissa Lopez Wong - Mario Lopez sister

A couple of weeks ago, Mario Lopez was set to make an appearance at Lumen Lounge and due to things beyond our control he could not make it. However after speaking to him, he asked me to host his sister and brother in law and I gladly did. Marissa Lopez Wong is an author as well as sister to top Latin TV Host Mario Lopez and Kailee Wong is a retired NFL player. They live in Houston with their children and after a good dinner they celebrated the night away at Lumen.
Waiting on when Mario will remake his appearance, hopefully it will be soon!

Better Together (sponsored post)

With my hubby and little man in the house things can get hectic. We all have packed schedules that require us to be on the go all day. That’s why I love using Caress Daily Silk Body wash Value Pack and my boys are smelling great with Axe Black from Sam’s Club. They are quick, easy to travel with, and smell great.

But best of all, Sam’s Club carries them! So, I can grab them while I am stocking the house up, and we have enough for both my guys!
Preparing for the day, freshening up mid-day, or getting ready for a night out, a quick blast of confidence from Axe is what my boys need.
But with Axe Black and Caress, my entire family is #BetterTogetherSC!

And Caress is for me, it gives me just what I need to start my day feeling fresh and lovely. I also love the reassurance that I smell great through out the day.
And after a long day it is the perfect way to relax.
And Sam’s makes it so easy to pick it up and go with their new app. Scan and Go! It makes my shopping trips so much quicker a…

Meeting with Romeo Santos...So Nasty

I love music and as most of us do, we also have our favorites. I was fortunate enough to meet one of my favorite musicians, Romeo Santos of the mega latin group Aventura while he was in Houston promoting his dvd release for "The King Stays King" a concert dvd from where he  sold out at Madison Square Garden for about 3 nights consecutively. He's like the male version of J.Lo, that hard to get close to.

There must have been over 2k people in line waiting to get an autograph, catch a glimpse, a smile, and if lucky a hug from this latino heartthrob.... luckily I didn't have to wait in a line. I got a smile, a hug and we spoke and laughed about some of his previous work and very first cd. I was waiting on him while he met other fans for a private meet and greet the radio hosted and honestly I don't know how he does it...I was laughing the whole time, at the requests some of the fans were making, than at the replies the management would give. His management took car…
