Fan Fest Fun with Sprint Latino

Copa America is happening and Houston has had some fun games including the Mexico vs Venezuela game that I was happy to be at with Sprint Latino this past week. The day started early, I was at Fan Fest where Sprint hosted Luis Hernandez. Sprint is making it easy for the fans to connect with their soccer legends by bringing them close to the fans. The day was filled with music and live soccer players demonstrating tricks, giveaways and fun!

I had the opportunity to quickly chat it up with El Matador, during fan fest, it was ridiculously hot you can watch the video below.

How I get #Unready with Neutrogena

How I get #Unready with Neutrogena

Taking off my makeup after a long day of work can be a hassle especially when you are tired. It just seems like way more work. However, we should never fall to sleep with make up on. Washing our face is the first step to healthy skin.  I have been using Neutrogena fragrance fee make up remover wipes and the Deep Clean Gentle Scrub everyday for the past week and I am loving how my face looks and feels since using them both together. The Neutrogena Double Cleansing Method is the best way to get #unready every night because it gives your skin the most complete clean.

The wipes are fragrance free, and what I like most about them is that I can wipe off my eye makeup including the water proof mascara that we wear during the summer. The Scrub is oil free and won't clog your pores. Its gentle enough to use everyday.

As many of you know, last year my blog celebrated its 7 year anniversary and the City of Houston proclaimed that day July 9, to be Yvonne Guidry Day. So in honor of my blogs 8th year anniversary and my proclamation I have decided to celebrate the women in my community. I was inspired to do something where I can meet the women that message me on FB or Instagram and social media wanting to meet me, wanting to learn about SpoiledLatina and the lifestyle and wanting to be mentored.

SpoiledLatina Mission Statement

The mission of SpoiledLatina.com is to empower all women through a lifestyle of fashion and beauty.
Spoiled Latinas are modern day women, who are ambitious, positive, hard working and independent in the quest for their success and happiness. Acknowledging the need to take care of themselves mentally, spiritually  and physically will enable them to live life more confidently .

“Life is too short; you must spoil yourself”

I can tell you that everyone involved is excited to celebrate the women of Houston. So many giveaways happening during the event, the brunch and bubbles will be delicious, convo will be inspirational and we will be able to meet, grow, network, build and be better women.

I really hope to see you guys there!

Your Kid's Vision is Important! #MiVisionWorks

Your Kid's Vision is Important! #MiVisionWorks

Taking care of my eyes is important to me. Not only because my vision is important, but because Texas is a "bright" state. The sun puts a lot of strain on my eyes and I love being outside with my baby boy.

I have had 20/20 vision my entire life, but my husband is blind as a bat! So as our son is getting older, I am making it more and more of a priority to check his eyes.

Because this is an important issue to me, I was excited to partner with VisionWorks and learn more about kid's vision needs.

Did y'all know that 60% of our kids that are classified as "problem learners" have some sort of undetected vision issue?

That is a lot of our kids that are experiencing issues that can just be avoided with an annual eye exam.

Read this to learn more:

VisionWorks and Davis Vision launched the Let's Go See campaign to help inform parents about the importance of an annual eye exam. Their goal is to help 10,000 kids with their eye issues by donating exams and glasses. They are working with Prevent Blindness and Big Brother Big Sister to help pinpoint those who are in most need.

But, you can even nominate a kid or organization for an exam at LetsGoSee.net

I took the pledge to ensure my baby has the best eye health, I hope you do too!
