Happy Sunday Spoiled Ones! 

Wow, we are in the 3rd week of 2014 and still no flying cars. lol

I've been keeping myself busy and productive as I was before the start of the new year. I opened up an online boutique for you to Spoil yourself at. 

I am handling business for the blog and preparing for a fantastic 2014 with Hennessy and as if that wasn't enough, I am also planning a 4 year old birthday party. (I can't believe he will be 4 already!  I remember the day I found out I was pregnant...omg - more on that in the next post)

I have gathered some of my favorite quotes to prepare for the upcoming week. I hope these little reminders help you get through the week and perhaps the rest of the year as they do for me. Remember, Our mind loves to play games with us....Don't be negative! THINK BIG and follow your dreams, because anything is possible.

The wedge heel is in and from the looks of it, it isn't going anywhere anytime soon. SpoiledOnes like ourselves either love the trend or hate it.  I for one love it, Mason on the other hand...it's taking her a while, but she is coming around. I may need to ship her a pair. lol

I've been trying to figure out my outfit for New Years for about a week now. So I cannot say how grateful I am that Target decided to send out some guidelines and helpful tips for the Holidays!

These trends are right on the money for right now and what Target has to offer is ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!! Check out the list below, and tell us what you think about our picks that we hyperlinked!

Target’s Holiday Style Trends -

Different knits and styles, metallic detailing, and the mixing of textures like faux leather and tweed are on trend.

Black and white colors are very popular as well. Inject some color into your look by incorporating popular jewel tones – emerald, sapphire and ruby.

There isn’t a time of year when sparkle is more appropriate than during the holidays! Incorporate cool silvers and rich golds, whether it is a metallic dress, cute blazer or metallic scarf with sequin embellishments.

Incorporate key trends such as mixing textures, jewel-tone colors, chic 

outerwear and metallic embellishments into their apparel and accessories.

My FIRST MAC lipstick!

I know, I know..how could I be #SpoiledLatina's assistant and not have known the wonders of MAC Cosmetics? I bet some of y'all don't even believe this.

But, in my defense, I had fallen in love with Smashbox and TooFaced and thought I was good. So, what prompted me to stroll into my local MAC? Well! Being that I fell in love with Smashbox and TooFaced in HIGH SCHOOL and I am graduating from COLLEGE next year, I thought it might be time to make more grown up decisions. And, I'll just add in, that this decision went a million times better than my Brazilian disaster (more on that later).

To be completely honest, I was terrified of walking into MAC. It is kind of intimidating for someone who doesn't consider themselves a make-up junkie. So I did some research first (you know me) and decided that I would be looking for a berry shade. I didn't go in with an exact shade that I wanted, because I wanted to actually get the MAC experience with their trained artists.

At the store I had a wonderful woman who approached me immediately (I love that!). After finding out what shade I was looking for, she didn't immediately start shoving all of her lipstick knowledge down my throat or throwing open tubes of lipstick at me like a dart board. I was so impressed! Instead, she started asking me questions about what I wanted the shade for, and what kind of work I did (easy, I'm #Spoiled), among other things. Then she allowed me to pick the shades that caught my eye, none of which worked for me (lol). Regardless, she was helpful and let me test them all out. Right when I was losing hope she suggested two shades of lipstick that showed me love like I have never experienced before.

These shades stole my heart today.

They were out of Zen Rose, but believe me, I am in Houston today and I am coming for her.

But there was no way I was going to leave without Rebel.

 Here is my natural lip and here is my Rebel lip! I love it!

I am a true MAC believer now. My shopping trip was a true experience and my product is amazing.
I will be back soon to add my sprouting collection of MAC lipsticks.
