Heart of Haiti Initiative

Spoiled Ones, we all remember the devastating earthquake in Haiti that demolished almost everything. Since then the people of Haiti are full of hope and are determined to rebuild their lives. Social Entrepreneur Willa Shalit, along with The Clinton Bush Haiti Fund and Macy's have launched The Heart of Haiti  "Trade, Not Aid" initiative.

The wonderful thing about this project is that The Heart of Haiti initiative provides artists with the opportunity to make a living, feed their families and provide for their children to go to school. The Heart of Haiti collection which is being sold in over 25 Macy's stores nationwide and on Macys.com features over 40 home decode items including quilts, metalwork, ceramics and paintings. The collection is amazing.

H&M Grand Opening

Shop till I drop

The turn out was amazing! Over 500 people showed up for the Grand Opening of Houston's newest H&M Store. I was able to arrive early and look around and shop early before the big crowd showed up. Look of the day

I had an important meeting today and finally got a chance to wear the dress I bought in Boston last month. The dress is by Corey Lynn Calter  it has a great pattern and the colors of browns and blacks with a blue and yellow touch, I fell in love once I tried it on...lol

I paired it with pearl earrings and my hair was in a mini beehive bun which my girl Michelle de Moore suggested. Came out perfect.
