This has got to be one of my favorite moments of 2019. As I write this, I am looking back at all of the sacrifices, hard work, late nights and early moments that I have had to endure, to get here, to enjoy this moment, at this moment. Summer time means the less clothes possible, at least it does when one is in Miami. Ladies, you know I am not lying - when in Miami we should wear cute little dresses, bathing suits, and dress up to party the night away. Something that I am not used to, the little dresses I mean. However, I recently took a girls trip to steamy South Beach and decided to obviously, pack cute little dresses and beach wear. I packed the necessary essentials to make this trip a good one, necessary essentials meaning Antiperspirant.

We've all have said it to someone or have had someone say it to us "Stay Positive". It's so easy to say those words, but for many people staying positive when the going gets rough is, rough. Staying positive is a mental task we all must learn how to master in order to live a peaceful, happy life. Being Positive is also a daily challenge that requires focus and attention and you MUST be intentional about staying positive, because we all know the mind plays tricks on us.
3 Ways To Stay Positive:
Stay optimistic. As mentioned above, being positive requires your mind to be in a peaceful state. It requires you to shift your thinking to that one of optimistic and hopeful outcomes. The only way to have a good day or a better outcome is to "VISUALIZE" yourself having one. Stay Optimistic. Yes, life is hard. You are not the only one doubting yourself but if you don't have a spark of optimism and hope than you will stay stuck and WE Don't stay stuck, we move!
Stay away from those feelings, people, things and energies that "DON'T FEEL RIGHT". Often times, as humans we are worried about hurting someone else because of fear that they won't like you or they won't value your opinion. If something is not "feeling" well. If something is "not going your way" - you must shift your mindset and free your self from those feelings. You've got to seek energies who fulfill your soul with power and fuel your mind with goodness. Remember life is too short for the B.S. and I don't mean bags and shoes.
Exercise regularly, eat well and sleep enough! Sounds so cliché but when I tell you this has been working or me lately, it's so true! I used to dislike looking at myself, until one day I had enough. I joined Hard Core Pilates and changed my mindset. I am going to be healthy, I am going to feel good, I am going to eat less but still eat what I love and I am going to take responsibility of my life and my feelings towards myself. Let me tell you, it hasn't been easy and if it was easy I probably wouldn't do it. It's a mental game we must win, its a mental game against our own selfs to be the best person we can be. When you start feeling good from the inside, and working out your outer body - the feeling is different. You start loving yourself more. BUT IT ALL START WITH staying Optimistic. If I wasn't optimistic, about joining Pilates, than I would never have uploaded these pictures. Thank you Wayne, Claire and my girls for the encouragement.
Trust the outcome, work hard, OWN your MIND and do it for yourself....Stay Positive!

A few weeks ago I decided to participate at Fiesta De La Flor in Corpus Christi as a vendor selling my Spoiled Latina and Jefita Bonita T's. Honestly, I was very nervous about selling my merch on such a big weekend but knew that Jefita's live everywhere and Spoiled Latinas are all around us plus FDLF would be the biggest event I had ever sold at besides SL Day.
I had to make sure I stocked up on new color ways, sizes and different inventory to be fully prepared for such a grand weekend and I was.
Corpus Christi, is about a 3 hour drive from Houston, and I knew that I would drive because of everything I was taking with me. While planning it all out, Chevy calls me! (God is Good!)
Turns out, Chevrolet was an official sponsor of Fiesta De La Flor and wanted to offer a media loan to help me get to Corpus in style, comfort and room for all of my merch and supplies and not to mention our luggage.
Grateful for the Chevy team for supporting their media friends to help make our work easier!!
We all know weekend road trips are always fun, but weekend road trips with your girl friends are way more fun, so I invited a few of my girlfriends who are always very supportive of one another along for the trip, to keep me company and of course to hustle with. The Chevrolet Silverado was big and bold and made me feel safe. I loved the features that the Silverado had such as the Rear Vision Camera, its a camera that pops on when in reveres that provides the driver of a view of the scene directly behind the vehicle. 6 airbags, just in case God forbid anything happen to use while road tripping and On Star Connected services with automatic crash response emergency services. Our road trip went smooth as can be and we had a blast on the road.
The one friend who came along with me, Laura - was the best! We jammed out to all of our favorite tunes, laugh, share stories, found new roads and ultimately grew our friendship all while driving to and from Corpus in a Chevy was really cool. The Silverado has bluetooth and 4G Wi-Fi which was awesome because my friend had work to get done. Apple CarPlay capability and if your team Android its compatible as well. 6 speaker audio system which made us feel like we were superstars the way we were singing to the top of our lungs. LOL
Overall the experience was great! Can't wait to experience another Chevrolet model and tell you all about it!

While my visit to Corpus, I also had the chance to catch up with my sister who I had not seen in a few years. She joined me at Fiesta De La Flor and than met up with me the next morning for breakfast before my drive back to Houston. So happy for these moments!
