Topgolf with #HTownKid

**This is a sponsored post by Topgolf but as always all opinions are my own.

I gotta keep my son Anthony busy - he's 8 years young and his energy is through the roof.
One of the fun things we like to do but hadn't visited in a while was, Topgolf.
So I made it extra fun by inviting his friends and their mom. I love inviting his friend John and his brother, the cutest little Cuban kids. Their mother Maria, speak Spanish to her kids and with Anthony and it helps me when I teach him the language as well because his friend knows how to speak it too.

We started off with activating their memberships, which btw if you click here you can get a free membership to Topgolf which will save you the $5 membership fee. Topgolf makes it an easy breezy experience for everyone to have fun. Each golf bay has its own waitress who takes your order and helps you set up the games.  The weather was perfect, totally enjoyed sitting outside watching the kids play.

We each ordered our own meal. I ordered a cob salad (trying to stay healthy), Anthony ordered the chicken and waffles, his friend ordered a breakfast pizza, a burger and we each ordered a lemonade. The food, was good. The kids loved it!

While we were playing, Anthony got a bit discouraged at his swing. He kept trying to hit the ball and couldn't seem to get it. The staff at Topgolf offered a mini lesson and within minutes his confidence boosted and he started hitting the balls.

I have it on my schedule to return to the Noches Latinas night at Topgolf where they will have a DJ playing some of our favorite latin hits. Topgolf also has a large bar, pool tables and so many televisions making it easy not to miss a game or anything you may want to watch while at Topgolf.

If you haven't been to a Topgolf, I definitely think you should. It's great for the family, date night, and for some good, clean fun. Remember to take advantage of the free membership!

Momma on a Mission with Mazda

Momma on a Mission with Mazda

I always have something I am working on and trying to improve that's why its always great when brand partners such as Mazda team up with you to make your dreams and work a reality. This past week I drove a Mazda CX-9 and honestly forgot I was driving a SUV.  It drove so smooth, every time I picked up a little speed it felt as if I was driving a sports car. The sunroof was a a great addition to take in the amazing weather that we had experienced that week.

My week started off with the Mazda in Austin - I was closing my work week at SXSW. I was at SXSW networking, learning and doing a few things with Wrangler Jeans. If you caught my Instagram stories, you saw the fun that was had at the Yeti store where Wrangler and Yeti partnered for cool SXSW showcases inside the Yeti store.

I have a love and hate relationship with Austin - I used to live there in my early 20's and for personal reasons it is not my favorite city to visit, however - I did have fun. I caught up with my nephew, his girlfriend, my niece and friends. I attended some music showcases, ate some great food, and met some great folks along the way. Parking was horrible, had to park in parking garages the whole time but we took some great pictures.

I attended a brunch with Latina Magazine and Shea Moisture one morning and caught up with some fun Texas Latina Bloggers (which is always great to do) . We talked beauty and what it meant to Latinas. Our convo went well, heard some stories from the women and learned what the girls points of views were on different topics. Overall a beautiful morning.

I headed back to Houston in the Mazda, Anthony and I. He loved all the extra space in the back seats. He played video games, we sang songs out loud together (something we love to do) and made it back to Houston in no time.

Upon returning to Houston, back to busy!

I attended a few media events, but mostly caught up with emails and back to being a busy working mom!

SpoiledLatina on The Not So Cool Podcast

SpoiledLatina on The Not So Cool Podcast

I love when people create their own platforms from scratch and it begins to grow. That's what happened with Fred and Mike...2 photographers from Houston who created this podcast as a way to express their "cool" in "The Not So Cool" podcast.

I was invited as their guest this week and we talked about my career, how I started in this industry with SwishaHouse the record label, to starting SpoiledLatina, working with major liquor brands and now taking my talents to Latina Magazine.

Honored as a Boss at Boss Life Awards

Hi Babes! It's been a long month already and its just the beginning of 2018. Happy New Year to you and yours by the way! I pray this year brings you all the desires of your heart. The year is off to a fantastic start and if its any indication of how the rest of the year will be, this year will be grand. It's the 10th anniversary of SpoiledLatina. 10? yes 10! I am working on SL Day (more info on that in the coming weeks)

January 16, I received a Boss Life award from the Boss Life Foundation that is founded by Slim Thug who is one of Houston’s own and a well known rapper in Texas and a good friend of mine. The Boss Life Foundation honored other outstanding individuals at the 4th Annual Boss Life Ball at the home of the World Series Champs, Union Station inside Minute Maid Park.  These entrepreneurs have a proven track record of being extraordinary entrepreneurs. The recipients of the Boss Life award recipients  Tilman Fertitta who is the owner of Landry's Restaurants and the Houston Rockets (Billion Dollar Buyer), Daymond John founder of FUBU and on Shark Tank,  rapper Bernard “Bun B” Freeman , radio personality Madd Hatta from The Madd Hatta Morning Show, and a popular Houston bakery owner known as the Cake Ladi than there is me!

I was surprised that I was chosen to be honored. I have known the guys and supported them for years and for them to notice my hustle was special. Slim and Boss Life inspire me and I appreciate them for including me in this years festivities.

I was the only Latina to receive the Boss Life award all for starting  SpoiledLatina.com almost 10 years ago as a way to empower women through beauty, fashion, and lifestyle. Through the years I have become more than just a lifestyle blogger, I am a popular entertainment and brand specialist. If there is something exciting going on in Houston you will find me there.  Over the years I've also worked with top spirits brands creating brand affinity and drive the culture through entertainment.  This past year I was the brand specialist in charge off all things Ciroc/Deleon in the Houston market and I moving forward am the social media correspondent for Latina Magazine.

French Montana x Spoiled Latina

Sunday, November 26, 2017

I hosted the Ciroc French Vanilla party in Houston with French Montana earlier this month and it was a huge success. The vibe was right, the music was great and the drinks were flowing and delicious. While the party had more women than men, Slim Thug, Propaine and a few other Houston male influencers showed up to support the night.

French had a great time meeting guests, while mingling and snapping photos with fans. The new Ciroc Flavor French Vanilla is inspired by French Montana and one of my personal favorites of all the Ciroc flavors.

The video which you can find on my here shows how fun the party was. Click and enjoy!
