The SpoiledLatina Show (episode 1)

I have always wanted my own show and since I am an entrepreneur,  I made it happen for myself. Super grateful for the opportunity to showcase my talents and interview people I admire and at the same time run, a fun, productive, informative show such as mine. I had a blast and looking forward to more amazing guests and convo.

On the first episode I catch up with Joey Guerra and Joy Sewing who are 2 of my favorites of Houston. We laugh, pop champagne, and have a good ol time!

Thank you for all the support, please subscribe to my youtube channel!

Hope you like it!!

I'm a Reina Rebelde

I'm a Reina Rebelde

If you have been visiting my IG page lately, you might have seen me rocking my fierce Moreton color lipstick by Reina Rebelde. Reina Rebelde is a new makeup line created for the todays mujer.
The exquisite and ambitious woman who embodies her powerful cultural duality by showing her gran belleza to the world. She is blessed with many choices: she speaks English y algunas veces espaƱol. Because We Can!
She loves being Latina and Americana. She equally celebrates the beauty of her Reina and fierceness and grit of her Rebelde. She embraces her duality and has always understood the fuerza that the perfect shade of lipstick provides to her already-dynamic life and how it powerfully transforms her mysterious beauty.

I am so inspired by how my Latina friends and colleagues are so strong minded, dress with courage and sass yet are heart warming and loving.  We know we are smart yet rebellious and thats why I am delighted to be partnering with Reina Rebelde. They are a makeup brand that unapologetically allows  us Latinas to freely celebrate the duality of our lives with products that bring out the pride in our beautiful heritage, the fierceness of our spirit and the mysteriousness of our natural beauty.

caught in the moment at the Drake show
I love the dark, rich color in the Moreton shade that you are seeing in the pictures. Dark Goddess, for a fun night out with my friends. It's like a cross between chola and high fashion.  lol I l got so many compliments on the color...If you're interested in the shades and the collection as a whole visit http://reinarebelde.com

By clicking on the link above, you can get 10% off of your purchase. Look at the amazing and bold colors, the eye pallets are so pretty. Matter of fact,  share a photo online with the #SoyReinaRebelde hashtag for a chance to win a website credit towards @ReinaRebelde products!!

3 weeks into the school year

Drake in Houston

Drake in Houston

I had a chance to make it to not one but both of Drake and Futures "Summer 16" show dates in Houston and both were so fun but so different...
The first night, I took a friend who loves Drake. We sat on the floor, 8th row, great seats, the energy was on 100! Second night,  I had purchased suite tickets with my girlfriends but last minute had floor seats as well.... so what I did was go back and forth which actually ruined it for me. My knee had been killing me all day and moving in an arena that big was not easy. Luckily, I used the elevators but the way my patience was set up that night...lol I wasn't having it!

The last time I had seen Drake was last year for HAW weekend. He dj a set at Lumen for a private party, and the year before that when I sponsored HAW weekend announcement while I worked for Hennessy.

I filmed the first show and created a clip for you to watch. Enjoy!

Also, the highlights of the weekend was actually meeting Drake for the 2nd time.  I shared the story on my IG page.

Don't Miss Important Eye Exams For Our Kiddos

This post has been sponsored by Visionworks. All opinions are mine alone. #MiVisionworks

Where has time gone?  A full week of school has come and went and HTownKid aka my beautiful son, Anthony is now a 1st grader. From what he has shared with me about his time in class he's had a wonderful time. With all the hustle and bustle of enjoying our summer vacation and planning for back to school we didn't make time for his eye exam.

I have to be truthful, I wasn't planning on having his eyes checked because for one I never wore glasses as a child. Secondly, he's never mentioned he has troubles with his vision, but the more I thought about it I must get his eyes checked because his daddy was a glasses baby so in reality; there is a 50/50 chance. I'm glad to be partnering with Vision Works to promote the importance of having our kids' eyes checked. They have an easy to use and full of information page for the "Let's go see" campaign that you guys will learn from just as I did.

It's recommend that children get a comprehensive eyes exam between the ages of 3 and 6 so according to the recos we are due for a check up.

What are the signs that my child might have trouble seeing?
  • Headaches and dizziness
  • Squinting
  • Holding books close to their face or too far away
  • Sitting close to the TV, computer or tablet
  • Twisting or tilting their head to favor one eye
  • Frequent blinking or rubbing their eyes
  • Inability to judge distance properly (bumping into things)
  • Decreased performance in school and athletics

One thing that Anthony does do often is sit close to the TV's at home plus play on his tablet and phone and although I have reiterate it every time he does it anyway - one more reason to get his vision checked.

We have a vision appointment next week, I'll keep you guys updated on the outcome. Wish me luck and hope its not like his hair appointment. If he happens to need glasses, Vision Works has a great and stylish selection of glasses for all children and their personal style.

Simple Sunrise for your skin

We all know that Wal-Mart carries a large variety of skincare products and naturally as shoppers we tend to stick with brands that we have previously used and are comfortable with.  Today, I am sharing info about Simple Sunrise products.  Gentle products that are tough on makeup that you should try.

Walmart now carries Simple’s new formulas - Hydrating Cleansing Oil & Dual Effect Eye-Makeup Remover, gentle formulas to ensure makeup comes off cleanly.  I am super busy and make up is a big part of my life, thats why I recommend these wipes, they take all the make up off of your face without leaving the streets of mascara or eyeliner. The beauty of Simple is while its cleaning your face, it i also hydrating and conditioning our skin.

If you love to shop online, like I do simply click this link to get more info and shop the already low prices at Wal-Mart online. Free shipping is available sometimes. :)

Summer Moments

Summer Moments

That's it! In my world, Summer is over and I must admit that it was a great one! We didn't travel far to enjoy ourselves and make memories instead we stayed in Texas and enjoyed
a lot of time outside. My son is 6 years old and this summer he learned how to swim and to end the summer on a splashy note, we decided to take a trip to San Antonio and Canyon Lake. * I know that was kinda cheesy.

Since this was a last minute trip, I hurried to my local JCPenney. The JCPenney store near my house is so convenient and since its not in a mall its I literally go in and out for what I want It's #SoWorthIt - It also may be the law of attraction. J

I was able to find this adorable one piece bathing suit that I wore to the park. It was on sale, which made the purchase sweeter. Matter of fact, JCPenney is having all kinds of sales - they are offering free shipping online and 20% off all purchases more than $100. Thats so convenient for me and us busy moms on the go. They had all kinds of things on sale, my next purchase will be the massage seat. So next time, I share a new blog post I'll be getting a massage while I share my thoughts. :)

Hope you guys have enjoyed your summer as much as we have. What are some of your summer moments? Let me know where I should visit next summer. Anthony didn't get his NY trip in but hopefully we can make it this year or next.
