Pretty in Pink - OOTD

There is something about the color pink that makes me smile. Its my absolute favorite color. So when I visited the Marshall's store in Miami looking for a bathing suit, somehow I managed to make it to the dress area (its the natural shopper in me) I found this dress. The dress was on sale, took it to the dressing room to try it on and it fit perfectly. I had to buy it. This was my second time wearing the dress, I paired it with a pair of low heels I purchased at Nordstrom and wanded my hair for a wavy look.

I had to film a segment with a local TV station and this made the perfect look. Never under estimate what you can find at Marshalls. It may be difficult when looking through the racks to find the right piece but with a good attitude and some time you'll find it or if you're lucky, it'll find you.

#SLDAY2016 was powerful! (video and pics)
Words cannot express the way I feel. I am happy, thankful, joyful and appreciative for how the day turned out. I celebrated my blogs 8th anniversary and created the first SpoiledLatina Day celebration for myself and all the ladies that I know. I love you.

July 9, 2016 Houston, Texas - Yvonne Guidry, Founder of the Houston based popular Lifestyle Blog SpoiledLatina.com, a blog that she created out of her love for life, fashion, beauty and entertainment partnered with ‘all Laundry to celebrate her 8th year blog anniversary as well as her city proclamation that she received in 2015. “SpoiledLatina Day 2016 is proud to partner with ‘all because ‘all is an iconic brand that makes the busy woman’s life easier with products that deliver powerful laundry performance and results.”

“I could have celebrated myself, but I know so many amazing women in Houston, I wanted to make it more about us and less about me.” Yvonne says, “I did this for my mother, my sister, my friends and the ladies who follow me and the ladies who follow my amazing panelist. We all deserved this.” The sold out event which aimed to celebrate women in all facets of their lives did just that. “We hold many responsibilities and ‘all the guests walked away empowered, motivated and stronger and with the desire to work hard but know that they deserve to “spoil themselves a bit more without feeling guilty about it.”

Guests panelist included: Raq-C Cordova a motivational speaker based in LA that had a popular show on Mun2’s Chiquis & Raq C, Devi Brown a TV and Radio personality, Joy Sewing the Beauty and Fashion Editor at Houston Chronicle, Zanetta Jones of the Houston Rockets, Tyzza Macias founder of Factory Glam, Yuridia Gonzalez of 104.5 Radio, Lisa Valadez Assistant Publisher at Houston Style Magazine and Athena Anesti a local influencer who is helping people live better and healthier lives.

SpoiledLatina plans on taking the concept on the road nationally and plans to be in a city near you.

Thank you to everyone who supported the event in one way or the other. all Laundry Detergent, Boost Mobile, Rigby and Pellar, Telemundo, CCM Foundation, Madre T's Sweet Creations, Whatcha Cravin, Marquis Lofts Downtown, Vickys Garden and all my family and friends who made this day come together just nicely.

Last week SpoiledLatina.com got invited by our blog post sponsor Mirium Shopper to attend the #100PorCientoTu concert with Luis Coronel in Dallas.  The concert was a pre-event to the big show of Premios Juventud in Miami.

I sent SpoiledOne, Stephanie Franco to Dallas to enjoy and cover the show...here is her event recap.

It looked like a lot of fun! We love Luis at SpoiledLatina.com

Life is but a dream...keep dreaming!

I had a break in between meetings and decided to stop at the Sugar and Cloth walls to play. Thanks to my partner in crime Jessica B for the photos.
