I was able to gain some really great beauty tips from the man himself....read below for some valuable info!

1. What are you most excited about with the Dolce Matte Lipstick and Summer Shine Collection launches?

The Dolce&Gabbana Dolce Matte Lipstick Collection is an incredible line of lip shades. The color choice, product quality and finish are incomparable. It's pretty much all I'm using on lips at the moment. People really respond to these rich matte long wearing lips. The crimson and cherry shades in particular are just stunning.

As for the Dolce&Gabbana Summer Shine Collection, the peachy cheeks and sultry, sexy and smoky eyes are always a go-to classic for me. I am all about this look!

2. When do you recommend using a matte vs. shine?

I think Dolce&Gabbana Matte Foundation is great for the T zone area as that's where people tend to get oily. The Matte Foundation and Matte Concealer are especially great for sustaining smooth, clear skin. Adding shine is great for the cheekbone and lips – these areas can always use a little glow to create a very flattering highlight.

That said, my favorite summer look combines dewy skin via Luminous Liquid Sheer Foundation and a rich Dolce Matte Lipstick. The Dolce Matte Lipstick is actually very practical as it stays put even in the heat; so you don’t have to constantly check your compact mirror, you can relax!

3. What beauty regime would you recommend for mornings and evenings?

For evening it is important to thoroughly cleanse the skin and moisturize before bed. This is when your skin really gets to rest and rejuvenate, and you can use a cream like the Dolce&Gabbana Aurealux Cream, which is rich. In the morning refresh the skin with a light cleanser and moisturize. The Dolce&Gabbana Sheer Radiance Primer has UV protection and is a must-have to prep your skin for your color decisions of the day!

4. How should we protect our skin for this upcoming summer season? And what product do you highly recommend for keeping our skin flawless?

Sunscreen! Dolce&Gabbana Essential UV Cream has SPF 15 and serves as a great moisturizer. Paired with Dolce&Gabbana Sheer Radiance Primer, Dolce&Gabbana Matte Concealer and Dolce&Gabbana Perfection Veil Pressed Powder you will see a tiptop complexion. At night, the Dolce&Gabbana Aurealux Masks are brilliant for boosting the skin's condition and radiance.

5. What is your favorite matte color and shine color in the collection?

I can’t wait to see women wearing the Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue Lipstick from the Summer Shine Collection! I personally tend to gravitate towards peaches and golds which are super flattering on everyone and go seamlessly from day to night. The Dolce&Gabbana Shine On Lipstick is a personal favorite to create a sexy nude lip.

For the Dolce Matte Lipsticks, I love Dolce Desire, which is incredibly sophisticated chic. Beautifully bold.

6. Outdoor parties and summer soirĂ©es are right around the corner, how can I minimize oily and shiny skin outdoors?

Light moisturizers and sunscreens for a start - these serves as a great way to combat a shiny face. You don't want your face weighed down with excess product in the heat and humidity. The Dolce&Gabbana Matte Foundations and Matte Concealers are superb for oil control and really are high performance makeup for a smooth flawless complexion in the heat.

Hope to see you guys there!!

Springing into my home garden

Springing into my home garden
Hola SpoiledOnes! How have you been? Espero que bien!

Well, winter has come and went and summer is slowly approaching, gardens are blossoming and squirrels are playing in the yards. I got so excited the other day, when I noticed my flower buds blossoming.  I live a wooded residential area, where most of my neighbors keep their lawns looking really nice. I even have one neighbor who I find cutting his yard, twice a week. So of course; we don't want to be the house with the ugly yard so we have our yard cut every other week.

Lately, I've been wanting to experiment with gardening on my own. I remember as a child, my mother would be outside in our home garden planting flowers, trees and fruits. My father had a chile' tree, where he would send me to pick chile del monte to compliment his breakfast or lunch. My grandmother in Mexico, has banana, tomato, chile, papaya I mean everything you can think of in her garden so all those memories and everything combined has inspired me start with my garden.

One thing about gardening and getting the look or personality that we want (as in all facets of our life) is the quality of the products we use. I actually went to Wal-Mart (because mom used to go to Wal-Mart and Handy Dan). I purchased Scotts Miracle-Gro and Ortho Round Up because for Spring Cleaning our garden these products are ideal.  I really want to make my yard look fab and take advantage of the woody area we live in. I also have a deck in my back yard and planning for my garden space to look beautiful for 4th of July or a nice dinner with the family outdoors.

I'll be working on my outdoor space...and will share progress soon.

Road Trip to Corpus for Selena Festival

Friday, May 15, 2015

A few weeks ago, I took a road trip to Corpus Christi to visit the Selena museum and memorial during the Selena "Fiesta De La Flor" festival. Had a fun 2 days with my friends, we laughed a whole lot, visited the grave site, the memorial on Ocean drive and walked through the museum. Seeing all her clothes which didn't look expensive while in glass but on Selena the outfits looked expensive. The many awards she had received while alive, were a sad memory for those visiting that weekend.
Forever in our hearts!

In case you were not aware NRG Energy, Inc. is the official energy partner of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo which ended last week. The lights and carnival rides do not turn on by themselves right!? I am so glad that I was able to spend time at the carnival with my family on the last day! The Rodeo Plan is customized for the ultimate Rodeo fan; the plan distributes competitive pricing and also offers a free pair of Justin Boots by signing up. Yes, a brand new beautiful pair of boots just by signing up!

That’s not all, NRG and the Rodeo teaming up has provided a personal power solution that keeps the only thing that keeps us sane (our Cell Phones) powered and ready to go!! The way it works is there are locations powered by NRG all around the city of Houston or at local events, they have battery packs that can be rented for $3.99 a week, and you use it and then return it to this kiosk. Land O' Lakes Butter with Canola Oil *Giveaway
Hey guys! How many of you love butter but hate when you take it out of the fridge and spread it and it tears yours bread? Yeah,  I hate that too. Recently, I tried Land O' Lakes with Canola Oil and discovered its great flavor but also the fact that it is made by 3 ingredients. How cool is that?!
Land O' Lakes tastes good because it is made with Canola Oil, salt and sweet cream -yup, that's it! And guess what?! It spreadable convenience is reason in itself to try it for yourself.

Made of 3 Ingredients:
1. Sweet Cream
2.Canola Oil
3. Salt

Another reason, I am loving Land O' Lakes is because it is so versatile and its taste and performance is the same as margarines minus the 15 ingredients. It can be used for spreading on your favorite breads and pastries, or as a topping for sides or favorite dinners. Land O' Lakes shares recipes on their website for our meal preparations like the one below.

I love me some crispy garlic & butter green beans!
you can find the recipe and others on LandOLakes.com

I know you want to try it! Here is a coupon for you...simply click here.

I suggest you trying out the Land O'Lakes with Canola Oil but they also have a cinnamon sugar, honey and garlic & herb flavor that you may enjoy as well.

 I love to eat! lol

As always, I try to spoil you guys...so on behalf of Land O' Lakes and Spoiled Latina.com  we would like to "spread" the love by doing a giveaway for a $35 Gift Card along with a butter spreader!!

Good Luck!!

Jamaican Me Miss You

Wednesday, February 25, 2015

Hola SpoiledOnes! It's been a crazy couple of weeks and this cold mixed with rain is not making matters better. I am missing Jamaica. I feel as though I have connection to the country. I am not sure if it reminds me of Mexico because the people are friendly and the food is amazing- especially the spices! I have visited the island twice and I am fascinated with it. I can't wait to explore the rest of Jamaica. My last trip was in November of 2014; and I learned so much more than my previous visit. I was able to explore and learn the culture and see historical sights. Truly an honor to see.

Avocado Heaven last night in Houston! #EchaleChallenge event recap pictures

Wednesday, February 4, 2015

Last night, guests who joined the festivities for the Avocados from Mexico #EchaleChallenge event at the swanky Galleria eatery Caracol, were in Avocado heaven!   We were treated to fresh avocado filled fish tacos, delicious shrimp cocktail bites and other delicious appetizers all with avocados. We all mixed and mingled through out the room while sipping on avocado margaritas that I must admit were delicious the Mojitos and avocado sangria were also tasty drinks. Guests also enjoyed some of Vianney of Sweet Life Bake amazing chocolate and avocado brownies and also gained valuable fitness tips from Carmen Melogoza from Latino Fit Club.  The crowd of about 75-100 people truly enjoyed themselves. I was so glad to be a part of this great event and to see a lot of my friends and colleagues and also got to meet new friends.

Thanks for the love!
