Pretty in Pink - OOTD

Pretty in Pink - OOTD

There is something about the color pink that makes me smile. Its my absolute favorite color. So when I visited the Marshall's store in Miami looking for a bathing suit, somehow I managed to make it to the dress area (its the natural shopper in me) I found this dress. The dress was on sale, took it to the dressing room to try it on and it fit perfectly. I had to buy it. This was my second time wearing the dress, I paired it with a pair of low heels I purchased at Nordstrom and wanded my hair for a wavy look.

I had to film a segment with a local TV station and this made the perfect look. Never under estimate what you can find at Marshalls. It may be difficult when looking through the racks to find the right piece but with a good attitude and some time you'll find it or if you're lucky, it'll find you.

OOTD- spring work

Happy Tuesday SpoiledOnes!
Had a few meetings today and decided to show off my outfit for today.

My mother brought me this dress, it's a vintage dress made by Appel. Perfect for spring and this pretty Houston weather. I paired it with a matching clutch and sandals.

OOTD- Houston Chronicle
What do you wear when you are unexpectedly asked to be featured in
The Houston Chronicle printing on Easter Sunday?

First of all the feeling of being asked is amazing. I was in Miami attending Hispanicize when I received an email from Joy Sewing, the fashion Editor for the Houston Chronicle. She wanted to feature me in her Style Profile which she writes every Sunday. Humbled and thankful, I replied with "of course...."
I had no idea what to wear and honestly I did not know that the article was printing on Easter. What I did know was I wanted to wear something cute that showed my personality and since I love color I knew I wanted something bright.

I raided my closet with no success (of course) proceeded to several stores and ended up at old faithful; Target. After exploring the isles I found this little ensemble. Paired it with wedge heels from my collection and added a belt and bracelet.

Although not as cold as I anticipated the evening would be, this ensemble worked for the occasion.
A Hennessy night out with some friends on a Thursday, I wore fitted brown military style jeans, a woven design sweater and some sandals with a gold cuff around the ankles. I thought the gold accent on the shoes gave the outfit an extra pop of life.

Black Lace....ooh La La

Black Lace....ooh La La
I'm loving the color black lately
Not only is it a slimming color, but this little number is sexy!

I paired my romper which I purchased at Forever 21
With black pantyhose also from purchased at Forever 21. Honestly,
I was a little skeptical about purchasing
the pantyhose because I was afraid of them being too thin
and possibly cause a quick tear but I was way wrong,  nice, thick quality
materials...they are actually the best I've
ever purchased from anywhere!

I love Forever 21!
I always find something super cute,
affordable and I always look like a
 Million without spending it!
