Superbowl Beyonce!

Superbowl Beyonce!

The Queen proved why she is the reigning champ tonight! Not only did Coldplay and Bruno Mars play back up to Formation singer; but she just through everyone for a loop when she hit us with the 1,2, punch and announced her Formation World Tour.

The one woman who can drop a new video for a new song, perform that song at the Superbowl the day after dropping the new video and announce a world tour at the heel of per performance is not only a performer, but a mother, a wife, a daughter and and inspiration to many of us.

There has been a lot of talk about her video and what it means -- she has guts, courage and without a doubt doesn't give 2 hoots about anyones opinion.

Thank you, Beyonce!
Thank you for the years of musical happiness, for taking us on your journey that was also our journey. I say that because her songs, carry out moments that some of us live in some way or another. Music connects to the heart and is felt in the soul and she has been someone that I have cried with, laughed, danced, turned up to and I have admired her for many many years. Classy, gracious, humble, simply B.

If you aren't one of the 11 million viewers that has watched the Formation video--- than here you go!

And, if you want more info on the tour...more info here.

Tina Knowles Day in Houston!

Tina Knowles Day in Houston!
Last year I was invited to attend a luncheon where Tina Knowles would be the Key Note Speaker at a woman & money empowerment summit and I accepted the invitation for a reason; Tina intrigued me.  I wanted to know what the mother of the most famous woman on the face of this universe had to say. I have been a fan of Beyonce since The Writings On the Wall, from when she was rocking her braids and making her debut into the music industry, and still think she is The Queen of all Queens. Aside from the obviously beautiful self that she is; I feel she speaks to the woman who grew up with her. I can honestly say that every time she released an album I was experiencing the same things she spoke about in her songs. I wasn't obviously living her lifestyle but I was almost the same age as her going through the same things we as women go through.  I think all woman can relate!!

At the summit; I shared the video which I went on to publish to youtube and the video was shared by most all media outlets from @necolebitchiedaily @globalgrind to @Vogue) Thanks!

That day, Tina shared a beautiful story which she gifted to the ladies of the audience. What I didn't share on the video was that Tina was also gifted the honor by the Mayor Pro Tem and the Mayor of Houston Annise Parker who proclaimed October 2, 2014 to be  #TinaKnowles Day in Houston!!

I wish I had met Tina and thanked her for such a powerful message that I myself needed to hear.

Soon after Beyonce who was inspired by her moms words - used a piece of my video in which her mother gives a bold statement... you can hear me agree by saying "mmmm-hmm" in the video below and in the actual song which I think IS super cool!! Maybe I will meet both Queens one day :) for now just watch this video of her mother being honored by the City of Houston.

Tina looking absolutely stunning at Solange's wedding

Over the weekend we got some exciting news!

Beyoncé included audio of the Tina Knowles's speech
that SpoiledLatina recorded!!

The snippet is included towards the end of Beyonce's new song "Ring Off" and you can hear me and my famous "ummph" agreeing to her.
The song is so beautiful and honestly after seeing her in real life and holding the camera as long as I did, I am so glad that Beyonce was inspired to write this song. Tina Knowles' spirit is amazing. Not a dry eye in the room that afternoon..... Watch the Tina Knowles personal story video below.

Tina Knowles personal story

Last week, I attended a Women and Money Luncheon where Tina Knowles was the Key Note Speaker and listening to her personal story was truly inspirational. This was HER story not the Beyonce or Destiny's Child's story. Listen to hear how she persevered and how strong she is today and has always been.

Miss Tina also received the Key to the City of Houston which made October 2nd, Tina Knowles Day and if that wasn't enough it was proclaimed Tina Knowles Day all over the U.S.A.

Congrats Miss Tina!

Jay-Z and Beyonce "On the Run" trailer

Despite the drama that went on last week that I  did not blog about on purpose; Jay and Bey are the ultimate "ride or die" couple. They released a trailer to "On the Run" and although it looks like it will be a movie, it is actually just a video.

The '03 Bonnie and Clyde are joined by heavy weights Don Cheadle, Jake Gyllenhaal, Sean Penn, Blake Lively, Emmy Rossum, Guillermo Díaz (love!) and Rashida and Kidada Jones.

Remember these 2 are going on tour....click here for more info --- http://www.beyonce.com/tour/

Pitbull responds to Jay-Z's open letter song with his own version

Tuesday, April 16, 2013

A couple of weeks ago Jay-Z and Beyonce celebrated their wedding anniversary in Cuba which caused alot of static with most citizens of Cuba.  Mr. 305, Pibull is Cuban Proud and we knew he could not let the moment pass without weighing in on the topic himself.

The U.S holds strong economic sanctions in Cuba and the idea of them traveling to that country was abusured to most and has also led to a probe to find out whether or not The  Carters had proper permission to enter the country.

Beyonce opens up about miscarriage

Thursday, January 31, 2013

She is just too damn gorgeous! Beyonce who is ecstatic to be a mother to Blue Ivy, finally talks about her first pregnancy and the miscarriage that caused her so much pain. Last year, the 31-year-old singer's husband Jay-Z briefly referenced the tragedy in "Glory," the rap track recorded within days of Blue's Jan. 7 birth, but Beyonce hasn't ever discussed the loss.

She opens up for the first time about the incident and its aftermath in Life Is But a Dream, her new documentary debuting on HBO in February. "About two years ago, I was pregnant for the first time," the Grammy winner says in one scene. "And I heard the heartbeat, which was the most beautiful music I ever heard in my life." but something happened in her early stages of pregnancy "I flew back to New York to get my check up -- and no heartbeat," she says. "Literally the week before I went to the doctor, everything was fine, but there was no heartbeat."

She is Beautiful...Hello Blue Ivy

Well Hello Lil Miss Blue, you are too cute for words, with your head full of hair looking precious. I love it!
I can just imagine Beyonce's pregnancy heartburn...ugh, mine was horrendous and my son came out with a head full of hair too! I wouldn't change it for the world!

The Carter's let us into their 'space' and created a Tumblr  page for Blue Ivy, check out the pics of them at the hospital. Congrats to them!

Beyonce post baby and Jay-Z
Last night Jay-Z performed at Carnegie Hall in New York and was looking might dapper in his Tom Ford.

Four weeks after giving birth, the Diva, supported her husband Jay-Z at his Carnegie Hall concert in Manhattan, which benefited The United Way of New York City and his Shawn Carter Foundation.

The new mom showed off her full figured body in a body-hugging Alice by Temperley dress with Ofira & Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, an Alexander McQueen clutch, and Christian Louboutin platform heels.

During the concert, people say Jay-Z got choked up while performing "Glory," the song he wrote for their daughter, Blue Ivy (born January 7 in NYC).

She looks Gorgeous!!

After party took place at 40/40 and Beyonce reportedly sucked on lemons the whole night.
Swag!

New Jay-Z ft. B.I.C (Blue Ivy Carter)

The Carter's
My favorite Celeb couple Jay and Beyonce have finally felt the feeling of being parents. Oh and what a feeling that is!!
Jay-Z explains his feelings in his new song....GLORY--- I love it!  Listen to the song with Blue Ivy crying at the end....so sweet!

“You’re the child of destiny. You’re the child of my destiny. You’re the child of the child of Destiny’s Child. That’s a hell of a recipe”. " My favorite all-time fave is this: "A younger, faster, smarter me/ so a pinch of Hov/ a whole glass of B."
