Red Bull x Flying Bach x Houston = must see!

When you think of classical music, you don't think of break dancing do you? I didn't either, but I was definitely intrigued by it. The idea that the dancers had to create and dance along to classical piece was something I had to see. I listened to classical music nearly the whole time I was pregnant with my son... and whenever Anthony is sleepy or fussy while we are out and about I always change the radio station to a classical station because I know he we will rest easy and its soothing. I also wasn't new to break dancing, my older brothers used to break dance back in the day and I remember that once, when no one was looking I did a headspin in the back yard of my parents house on a piece of cardboard box that was laid out flat. i promise. lol

Thalia visits Houston and we chat it up (video)

I've actually known Slim for quite some years and celebrated with him and friends over the weekend and he hasn't changed at all. What you see is what you get - I'm sharing a video of where I interview him a few years back at the Dub Car Show Tour in Houston... while I was working on SwishaHouseTV.

Hennessy #ArtOfTheChase Limited Edition bottle release party

Hennessy celebrated the release of its Very Special Limited Edition bottle designed by Ryan McGinnis all over the United States this past Thursday and of course I have to share what happened in Houston. We celebrated in grand style at Belvedere Uptown Park with the beautiful Hennessy models and displays of the Ryan McGinnis bottle throughout the venue. I hosted about 100 of my closest friends, business associates and lovers of Hennessy for what was definitely an experience to remember.

Thursday- July 9th in Houston, TX will never be the same.

Yvonne Guidry, Founder of SpoiledLatina.com celebrated her 7 year blog anniversary at Topman Topshop in the Galleria on July 9th with a city proclamation in her honor. Yvonne who worked and built a name for herself in the music industry created a blog in 2008 to share her love for life, fashion, beauty and entertainment. She wanted to share her own voice on the Internet and that she has done. 

Since starting her blog SpoiledLatina has been featured in The Houston Chronicle, named as one of Houston's best dressed, highlighted in Cosmo Magazine, Latina Magazine and Marie Claire. She has been a frequent guest on KHOU, FOX 26 and her positive and influential blogging garnered her a feature on ABC 13 during Hispanic Heritage Month which aired multiple times on various shows. 

Yvonne has built working relationships with many top brands including her current role as Key Account Manager (Brand Influencer) for Hennessy US representing the City of Houston. Guests of SpoiledLatina who were  family, blogger friends and followers enjoyed shopping discounts, the Hennessy V.S mixed drinks, gift bags and music. To top off the festivities Vice Mayor Ed Gonzalez recognized her outstanding achievements and presented Yvonne with her own day in the City of Houston which was proclaimed by Houston Mayor Annise Parker.

Please join me in celebrating my blogs 7 year anniversary at TOPSHOP Galleria. 

I created my blog out of love for life, fashion, beauty and entertainment. It has been a beautiful journey of late nights on the computer to early mornings, meeting wonderful and interesting people to finding my niche and things to write about, to building unique and lasting relationships with many brands. Although, it seems I'm always celebrating someone I have never celebrated mine or my blog accomplishments; therefore it would make my heart happy if you joined me to toast this special occasion.

Mexico vs Honduras Houston fun

I had a blast at the Mexico vs Honduras game a few days ago here in Houston.  It's always a fun experience being around nothing but Latinos and Latinos from Mexico cheering on their country and the pride that goes along with being Mexican. 

Traffic was horrible, it was raining, I live extremely far but of course we made it right on time. I grabbed our passes and we walked onto the field… Well on the field but on the sidelines.  We watched the Mexican and the Honduran team warm-up, of course took a million selfies and more photos and then proceeded to our suite. 

Although it was a tie game to a friendly match, we did witness a little fight and fans throwing food and drinks to the field.

Hennessy Privilege celebrates Jose Altuve

Hennessy Privilege celebrated Jose Altuve the Houston Astros star Venezuelan baseball player this past Thursday in Houston. 

Guests were greeted with amazing Hennessy Privilege Latin inspired drinks, sounds by DJ Geraldo and were able to take pictures with the star.
