Target to the rescue, again!

I've been trying to figure out my outfit for New Years for about a week now. So I cannot say how grateful I am that Target decided to send out some guidelines and helpful tips for the Holidays!

These trends are right on the money for right now and what Target has to offer is ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!! Check out the list below, and tell us what you think about our picks that we hyperlinked!

Target’s Holiday Style Trends -

Different knits and styles, metallic detailing, and the mixing of textures like faux leather and tweed are on trend.

Black and white colors are very popular as well. Inject some color into your look by incorporating popular jewel tones – emerald, sapphire and ruby.

There isn’t a time of year when sparkle is more appropriate than during the holidays! Incorporate cool silvers and rich golds, whether it is a metallic dress, cute blazer or metallic scarf with sequin embellishments.

Incorporate key trends such as mixing textures, jewel-tone colors, chic

outerwear and metallic embellishments into their apparel and accessories.

· Accessories:

Add eye-catching accessories, metallic heels and handbags to your shopping list.

Keep your look simple and you can have fun piling on the bling.

· Bold Make-up:

Sport a bold red or berry lip-gloss, shimmery shadow, and lots of mascara for a sophisticated look that’s quick and simple to put-on.

Your nails complete the look! This New Year’s add glitz to your nails with metallic and/or glitter infused nail polish.

Bring out your eyes by adding shimmery metallic shadow on the inner corners of your eyes.

Look at these COVERGIRL's!

#SpoiledOnes,

We love make-up, I mean LOVE make-up. So we are super excited to share with you these gorgeous looks with insider tips from the actually make-up artist, Jake Bailey.

We will start with Becky G's look since it is simple and sweet. This look would also be perfect for a nice night out with friends or toned down family day during the holidays.

"To create that fresh faced dewy look Becky G started with COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation in Buff Beige #825. She used COVERGIRL Clean Glow Blush in peaches 110. This blush provides a flush of lightweight, blendable color. This versatile 3-in-1 multi-shade compact lets you customize your color to create a radiant effect.

Becky’s favorite feature is her eyes so we played those up with COVERGIRL’s Flamed Out Shadow Pot in Charcoal (335), sweeping the shadow on lightly across her lid to maintain a soft delicate eye look.

Ink It! Perfect Point Plus Eyeliner in Black (230) eyeliner was applied on the upper lid and lower lid to make a bold statement. To finish off the eyes Flamed Out Mascara in Very Black Blaze (300) was applied.

Since Becky G’s eyes and dress were bold the lip color was kept soft and natural using COVERGIRL Lip Perfection in Smolder #205."

Now for Katy Perry's looks. Her red carpet look is perfect for a bold holiday occasion. Super sexy as we all should be.  Wear it to that "Party of the Year" holiday party and turn heads!

"I started with a sheer application of COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation in Buff Beige #825. This foundation is perfect. It lasts forever and [has] 20 SPF.

For the eyes I started by creating a classic Hollywood eye line using COVERGIRL Liquiline Blast Eyeliner in Black Fire #410. I love this pencil because you can create the look of a liquid liner but it's much easier to apply. I accentuated the crease of her lid using Flamed Out Shadow Pot in Melted Caramel #330 and finished with the NEW Bombshell Volume Mascara in Very Black #800 – it creates extreme volume!

I then set the foundation with a light dusting of COVERGIRL + Olay Pressed Powder in Light #330 and warmed the apples of her cheeks with Clean Glow Blush in Roses #100

I finished the look with a classic bold red lip. I used COVERGIRL LipPerfection in Hot #305 with matching liner. I used the liner to perfect her lip shape before applying color."
