A couple of weeks ago I was given the opportunity to visit The Royal Sonesta the newly renovated hotel near the Galleria. As many times as I have driven by the building I had never walked inside. Thankfully I did. Upon arrival I met my fellow blogger friends downstairs at the lobby/bar area. We gathered to give some Holiday Hope by donating items to the Star of Hope. Fun times were had by me and the fellow bloggers of Houston.
The lobby was beautiful and I loved the carpet design but honestly my favorite part of the lobby was the food you can order from the bar. The hubby ordered a cheeseburger that was delicious, I know because I took a big bite out of it, completed the meal with french fries and a delicious sprite. I on the other hand am a sucker for deviled eggs. I ordered the jalapeño deviled eggs, when I tell you that these eggs were so good you better believe me. LOL
After drinks and a yummy meal the hubby, my son and I hopped on the elevator to the 10th floor to a very cute double bed room overlooking 610 and its glorious traffic. Nonetheless an awesome view.
The beds were so comfortable, the restroom in the room was spacious and very spoiled like. Before bed we got hungry again and ordered room service....The children's meal with the chicken breast, mashed potatoes and veggies is to die for! I feel like eating lunch one day just for that meal. So good! I really enjoyed my stay, Thank you to Royal Sonesta Houston for the wonderful hospitality!
