Eva Longoria & Lay's Potato Chips campaign

Eva Longoria has lots more time to work on other projects now that she no longer is on set of Desperate Housewives. One of those projects is, joining with Lay's potato chips and their big campaign.

 "Foodies" can submit flavor submissions to directly on the Frito Lay's website for a chance to win $1 million dollars to the person who creates the next best chip.

"To me, the best part about the contest is that you don’t have to be a foodie, chef or flavor expert to enter," Longoria said in a statement. "You just have to trust your taste buds. If you're passionate about a flavor, likely there are others who agree."

NY International Film Festival

Planning a trip to NY in August? If so, make plans to attend the New York International Film Festival 

The NYIFF kicks off on August 13th with a 15th anniversary presentation of SELENA, the movie that launched J.Lo's career will be shown at at Theatre Under The Stars and it should be a great night out with friends, and relive the Tejano Queens legacy. 

Also opening night, Filly Brown, directed by Michael Olmos will be presented, this movie had great reviews at Sun Dance. The compadres Chingo Bling and Baby Bash were in the movie  and is the first big acting gig for Jenny Rivera.

Jay-Z Budweiser "Made in America" commercial

September 1st & 2nd, the city of Philadelphia will host Jay-Z's "Made in America" festival sponsored by Budweiser. The commercial aired last night during the opening ceremonies of the Olympics.

Performers at the festival include, Rita Ora, Maybach Music, Afro Jack, Pearl Jam and alot more.

Mariah to be paid what???

And I said, Wait, Hol'up! Mariah is getting paid 18 Million to be the next judge on American Idol, making her the highest paid celebrity to be on the show.

We all thought J.Lo was going to stick around but when she tried to negotiate her contract for more than the 15 Mil, she was already getting, she backed out.

SL Wedding Survival Tips

It's wedding season and it's also hurricane season which means it is hot, humid, sometimes rainy and basically the weather is unpredictable. 1. Prep your skin for your big day - exfoliate, moisturize, moisturize, moisturize and stay out of the sun. No, I didn't accidentally repeat moisturize,  moisturizing our face is very important and will give you the beautiful wedding glow.  
2. Drink Plenty of Water- This goes for days and months prior to your wedding and especially the day of and throughout. It will help keep you hydrated during the ChaCha slides and cumbias you will be dancing to.
3. Eat healthy- very important, you don't want to feel groggy or sick based on something that wasn't good for your body.
4. A good deodorant- now ladies, we know how important it is for us to wear deodorant on the daily. A good deodorant keeps you feeling fresh all day, simply by alleviating the unpleasant odor. Dove's Clear Tone-Skin Renew deodorant, is great because it helps with the irritation that occurs at time of shaving and also helps with the dark spots that are caused by the irritation.

KimYe or KanKim out & about

Kanye and Kim K, were spotted shopping at Neiman Marcus in Woodland Hills, CA this week. Kim is actually looking very casual compared to normal glam Kim. She still looks cute, pairing her Washborn Coated Jeggings in black with boots, a white T and zip up hoodie. Kanye, looked casually cute. They were matching. Something I've noticed Kanye likes to do with his gals.

It's nice to see Kim kind of looking "normal" vs her everyday glam, but than again I think Kanye is also influencing her style and telling her to pair this with this...

Jenni Reed, is the make up & beauty editor of Caoeus Magazine, I met her during a meeting for a reality show that we were supposed to be casted in, but never came to be, however we did keep in touch. I always love meeting women who are intelligent, fashionable and go-getters!

Heart of Haiti Initiative

Spoiled Ones, we all remember the devastating earthquake in Haiti that demolished almost everything. Since then the people of Haiti are full of hope and are determined to rebuild their lives.
